Damage Caused By Heavy Downpours Holding 188 People In Shelters

Heavy Rains And Downpours Could Continue In The Coming Hours

A total of 188 people, throughout the country, are in shelters authorized by the National Commission of Emergencies (NCE). Of these, 168 were affected by floods and landslides of the last hours, so far more than 500 incidents are reported.

The most populous shelter is located in Barrio México. There are 13 families and 66 people since this Sunday. In San Jose there are 3 other hostels in La Uruca, Aserrí and Patarrá.

Also enabled 2 in Alajuela, 2 in Guanacaste and one in Cartago.
